Accompanying Person

During your registration you can also register one or more accompanying persons at the same time. We offer an accompanying program for them from May, 31 to June, 3. They can also take part in the excursion to Ferropolis on June, 1. The gala dinner on June, 2 must be booked separately.

Bus shuttle

There won’t be any bus shuttle services for delegates. As Leipzig is very compressed, it is very easy to get from the airport as well as from the train station to the venue or the hotels. Please have a look at "Arrival".
 

Call of Content

You can submit your abstract here. Independent of the decision of the reviewing committee, you can register to the World Canals Conference. If your abstract will not be accepted and if you will not attend the conference in this case, we will cancel your registration and refund the payment.
 

Day ticket

If you wish to attend on one day only, you can book a day ticket (max. 2 day tickets). Please note, that you can attend the excursions only on that day.
 

Excursions

Please note that excursions are still in the planning stage. In the meantime, you can already register to the conference. You will receive further information about the excursions as soon as they are available to book. There is no separate fee.
 

Fees

The conference fee includes:

• Welcome evening (May, 30, 2022)
• Conference program (May, 30 — June, 3, 2022) including meals and drinks during the conference
• Name badge, conference documents

Guarantee

During the hotel booking process, we will ask you for your credit card details. Those details will only be used as a guarantee; your credit card will not be charged. Please note that you have to pay your hotel booking at the hotel during check-in/check-out.
 

Hotels

The international Wave Gotik Treffen and an international library congress will take place in Leipzig at the same time as the WCC. It is therefore advisable to book your hotel quickly.

If you need an invitation letter, please send an email with the copy of your passport to KSchmidt@eventlab.org. Please note that we will not contact embassies, etc.

Member

There is a special registration fee for IWI Members. Once you have finished your registration, we will check your member status. Should we not find you in the database, we will contact you.
 

Name badge

All registered delegates can pick-up their name badge at the registration counter at the KONGRESSHALLE am Zoo during the official registration opening hours. Please note, that only delegates, wearing a name badge, will get entrance to the conference.
 

Opening Hours

The registration counter opening hours will be published asap.
 

Pre- and Post tours

Pre- and post-tours can be booked via registration. If you have already registered, you are also welcome to do so afterwards - via the relogin.
